Here's to you! (beware this is long)

Here's to all of you that harass me on a continual basis! Just kidding I'm glad you push me, I keep meaning to post, I really do, but I've had issues lately. Don't worry you will find out my issues pretty soon whether you want to or not:) I am no closed book, I will gladly share with all of you my daily issues. Here's the thing though, I have ocd when it comes to posting on my blog and I refuse to post out of sequential order, since I haven't posted in forever I must post all of these pics first. These pics occurred before I had issues so I won't dig in to them just yet. Let's just say that this conversation will have to be continued in a later post.

Cannon (left) and Turner (right) are getting so big, We had a fun bath time the other week in my parents Jacuzzi tub.

Cannon is so sweet (minus when those big ogar hands get the best grip on your hair, face, nose, etc.) I had to post this, because those that know me, know I do not cook. What you may not know is that I try to volunteer every chance I get when it comes time to bring food to enrichment. Why you ask? Well I always try to make friends, cause I'm seriously the biggest loser at church. (Ask Carrie, she can attest) So I figure if I volunteer, people will like me . haha! Well this is my favorite thing Nate makes. It's mozzarella tomatoes, pasta peperoni, and basil with olive oil. I finally tried making it for the first time and it turned out really good! I was so proud of myself!I forced Carrie to come with me, she totally loved it (by that I mean my pasta not enrichment night, Quit being a hater Carrie haha) The best thing ever happened though, this lady that is really cool in my ward came up to me the next week and asked me for my recipe cause she loved it so much. I felt so cool (mission accomplished)

Ok so First Jared was on the wrestling team...fine...I eventually learned to like parts of it. Now he plays tennis. Have any of you been to a Tennis tournament? they last all day sometimes, especially when the one person you are there to watch keeps winning haha. Jared is really good at tennis and it was fun watching him, but wow it was a long day. Luckily we were in Thatcher and split the day up by visiting some of Nate's friends in between matches.

Ok this picture is random, but I had to throw it in the mix. At my job there is this lady that sits next to me (well she did until I just moved this week) but anyways it cracks me up because she always tries to give everyone hugs, and her hugs tend to be awkward, especially because they last far to long than what is comfortable. We all laugh about it. but anyways here she was trying to hug one of my friends. I thought it was funny and took a secretive picture. Then... most of you know this already because for weeks it has been on other's blogs, but Lynn Jake and Annabelle came in to town and I seriously had a blast!!!!Here we are at marci's, who by the way not only hosted a fabulous bbq, but has such a beautiful house, thanks so much for having us over) Tricia's husband Jared made the best cheese cake ever, I was so impressed!I thought this picture was funny because it is so typical nate. I asked him to take a picture of all of us as we were sitting and playing games (sorry team girls I totally lost it for us, I knew I shouldn't have had the "cat" card) Anyways what's funny about the picture is that this really was the best one he took and only Lynn and I were looking at the camera.I went over to Marci's blog and of course she had a perfect picture with everyone not only looking at the camera but smiling too! Thank goodness for copy and paste.This picture is also from Marci's blog. We had so much fun, it was too bad Kristen wasn't there this night.The good thing is that we got to see her the next day at the iron man race... (oh yeah Tricia thanks again for calling me out, real cool. haha!)I got to hang out more with baby Annabelle! She is so good and cute!
Go Scott! Seriously this was the most impressing thing! him and 3 other brothers did the race. Man Scott is a machine!!! Here he is after the finish line, he is now a 2 time iron man!

Easter Weekend

I'm so excited, This is the first time this year that I am not posting something a month later than it happened. I am happy to say that it is Easter today, and I am actually posting about Easter!

So first off Nate's family came into town. We had a lot of good food fun and games. the tacos were so good Des and TC, Thanks. Also we had a crepes buffet, it was so good.
My mom's uncle, Lud from Missouri came into town and we took him to the Easter Pageant. He loved it! Carrie and Loren did so good as they always do. Lud was so impressed, he filled out a form in the visitor's center for the missionaries to bring him a BoM.

He is so cute, if you don't know, he is the ONLY blood relative (besides her kids) that she has ever met. Since she was adopted, she never met her biological mother, as her parents died before she was ever able to find them. She did however, find her mom's brother (who had no clue that my mom was even born) 2 years ago my mom went and met him for the first time. Last year he cam to AZ to meet her family, and now he has made it an annual trip. It has been really neat.

On Saturday, while the boys went paint balling, and Des had to work, Kathleen (Nate's mom) and I took Raylee shopping. She is a really good shopper. And loved checking herself out in the mirror.

My mom threw an Easter dinner, It was great! She asked me to make these little cakes in the shape of eggs. The green grass is coconut. It was fun, but you would totally think that a 5 year old decorated them, but no it was me (des and ma-kat did help though, thanks)

Update

I haven't updated in a while, probably because I haven't been up to all that much, but here is some pics anyway!
First Nate had his appendex taken out!!! He had appendicitus that was caught early (Thank goodness) He was fortunate enough to learn from both Camille and my experiences to realize that his stomach pains had to be appendicitus, and that is why they caught it early. He had a rough recovery though, who knows maybe it wasn't so bad and he was just milking it in front of me so that I would baby him haha! Just kidding, he wouldn't do that. In fact I had a hard time getting him to just relax and recover, he wanted to do everything on his own. He kept telling me how much respect he had for me because I not only went to our reception the day of my surgury, but that I got up and got married the next day.

So yes, now Nate and I are appendex less, I think he just wanted to be more like me.

Before Kinzi and Emily headed back home after their visit, we went out to breakfast. I love these girls!!! If you read Kristens blog you saw that we started a sewing class on Wed. Thank you Linda!!!!! You are so Awesome!!!! Linda, Kristen's mom is teaching how to sew. We are so lucky to learn from the best. Right now we are doing these cute burp clothes (Attention all expecting mom's if you invite me to your shower, I will be honoring you with my new talent, please don't look too closely at the stitch, I'm not a perfectionist)

This one is for Marci, I kept telling her this was going to make the blog, apparently she didn't care! We went out for dinner with Loren and Carrie a while ago, it was really good, if I remembered the name I would share, but I totally forget. That is our waiter in the back
Happy Birthday Will (Nate's dad) we went to one of my favorite Mexican places, Macayo's yummmm! (however being that last week I ate mexican food 9 times, I must admit, I can go with out it this next week, ok I already know that's a lie, so maybe just once or twice instead of 9) And lastly this was cute pic of my mom and dad I took the other night. They are so funny!

This is proof that married people can still have fun!!!

This is from a while back but is way too cool not to post. When the Superbowl was in town I was determined to go out and take advantage of all the cool stuff that was going on. My mission was to see someone Famous! Let's just say Mission accomplished!!!!! So it started with Nate and I going over to pick up Loren and Carrie, Here Carrie is doing her hair.

Oh yeah and this was when we had the rental, so we felt really cool now.

We show up in Scottsdale and saw a red carpet event going down, we were very intrigued There was this huge tent set up and inside was a concert, for whom we did not know. Carrie and I thought it would be fun to watch people show up and enter on the red carpet. Our husbands being the mischievous guys that they are had other plans. They decided to walk around the tent to see if there was a way in. We of course thought (no way they are crazy) well five minutes later we get a call, and yes, our husbands got in, they have no remorse at all. Us on the other hand were freaked out cause they told us we had to sneak in and meet them. So our journey begins.

There were 2 security points that we had to sneak pass, and we were so scared to get caught, but our husbands told us to just act like we belong and walk with large groups. All of a sudden I start walking with this big group and it turns out to be John Jay and Rich my favorite morning talk show guys and their posy, I totally said Hi to John Jay too! haha! He was probably like who are you, and why are you walking with me? Anyway we finally made it in. And guess what? it was a Wyclef concert. Apparently the tickets were like $500. It was so fun!!!

This ended up being one of the funnest night outs! Below is a small clip from the concert. He pulled up some weird girls on stage and they were all the worst dancers. enjoy!

Oh and to all my single friends who tease me about being a boring old married person (aka Rachel) What's up now!!!!!

"Regan what have you been doing since 2008?" Well sit back and I'll fill you all in!

I know all of you have been hanging onto the edges of your seats to find out what the heck I have been up to so your wishes have come true, Hope I don't bore you all too much:) Well besides getting my new job, which is still going good, here are a few happenings that I have captured on camera since 2008! (I have a few cool things that I am going to post seperate though because they deserve their own post for being so cool)

Ok so first we have my little hot little lepricon of a husband Nate in his cubical on New years eve day!!! Good work Nate!Then off to our last minute New Years gathering, no offense to anyone that did not get a call, I had lost my phone a few days before and had no numbers, plus I wasn't planning on it till the very last minute. (oh and no we did not have a cool snow machine or even confetti as it may appear that is actually proof of how discusting my house is, cause I think that it is dust, gross huh? Whatever don't judge)

Then off to wrestling season for Nate's little Bros. We had the chance to go to a tournement in Heber as well as the state Championship, No offense to wresling fans, but how do you do it? Unless my brother-in-laws are up, I just get bored out of my mind...hmmm I probably should have kept that to myself. I will admit parts of state were'nt that bad

Raylee keeps getting cuter and cuter, she is laughing all the timeShe still has her serious moments thoughWill and Cathleen out to eat with us in HeberThen I got to hang out with my cute cousin Emily visiting from Germany and posing by the pretty tulips Nate got me when I was sick (thanks hon) , she is the shopper of the planet and got me the cutest Hobo wallet for only $15 I'll take a picture and post it cause it is sooo cute!! I got my hairs cut, I love my hair right now, this pic isn't the best but it gives you the idea.

Langdon went to Brazil for 2 or 3 weeks, it fealt like forever though, just ask Heather. We were happy when he finally came home.

Laura and Tylie came for a visit. I love Tylie she really is a crack up!She loves me too, Aunty Regan is her new favorite, sorry Rachel you've got some competition now!
Oh and how could I forget, poor Nate got in another accident and wrecked the civic (yes I still have the same Natural Gas Civic that I had in highschool) we had a rental for a while since my civic was being fixed.

What's that you say?? you didn't hear about Nate's accident? Well maybe you actually did hear about it cause it did make the news, you just didn't know it was my husband who was in it. he ran into a motorcycle cop on his way to work. Thankfully everyone is great and there was no injuries. But here he is in our rental, though it was a grand am, I totally loved that car. It's not that grandma looking, don't you agree?
